MEETINGS ACTIVITIES

 
Free Workshop - Starting at 7:00 p.m. there is a fifteen minute workshop giving tips and advice on topics such as: lighting techniques, camera basics, film choice, diving equipment for the photographer, and more.
Prelude - An open tray slide show, to show special images from a recent dive trip. Images can be on any subject of interest. The prelude is open to members and non-members alike.
Video Show - An opportunity for members to present a recently edited video
Monthly Photo Contest - Members compete by submitting up to three slides on a specific subject matter. Points are awarded to the top three winners in Novice, Amateur and Advanced divisions. Awards are presented to the years' top winners at the December Awards Banquet.
Main Presentation - Usually a slide or video presentation on a new technique, unusual dive trip or other topic related to underwater photography given by an advanced member or guest speaker. Guest speakers have included such well-known dive industry dignitaries as: Dale Sheckler (California Diving News), Eric Hanauer, Scott Frier, Al Bruton and Marty Snyderman.
